When we use small electric forklifts on a daily basis, we will inevitably encounter problems of one kind or another, including the problem that the water temperature of the forklift is too high. Structurally, the forklift cooling mechanism of electric forklift manufacturers is generally composed of cooling fans, radiators, thermostats and other components. The engine drives the cooling fan, the fan speed is consistent with the engine speed, and the thermostat adjusts the cooling water temperature. This structure is convenient for maintenance and low in cost.
In the inspection of the thermostat, the current thermostat used on the engine is mainly a wax thermostat, which is mainly to dynamically control the temperature of the cooling water at different temperatures. For checking the quality of the small electric forklift thermostat without dismantling, electric forklift manufacturers would like to tell you that this is mainly judged by the temperature difference between the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe of the radiator. After the engine cold engine is started, there is an obvious temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water pipes when touched by hand. After working for a period of time, the temperature difference is significantly reduced. During normal operation, there is no obvious temperature difference when the temperature is touched by hand.
Fork radiators from electric forklift manufacturers are located at the rear of the vehicle. The small electric forklift has a low chassis. If the working environment is poor, some sundries and dust will easily accumulate on the surface of the radiator. If it is not cleaned in time, it will seriously affect the heat dissipation. Therefore, we recommend that the radiator should be carefully cleaned after using the equipment, and the high-pressure water gun should not be used as much as possible, so as to avoid flushing the wall of the tube and affecting the heat dissipation effect. At the same time, hard water should not be used to prevent scale formation and lead to insufficient cooling water.
In the inspection of the pump, the power source that continuously circulates in the cooling system comes from the water pump. Therefore, electric forklift manufacturers believe that whether the small electric forklift pump can build up enough pressure is the key to the normal operation of the cooling system. When adding cooling water, as the engine speed increases, the cooling liquid level drops significantly to indicate that the water pump is working normally. On the contrary, the water pump and impeller may become loose and the cooling water cannot circulate.
While checking the cooling fan, electric forklift manufacturers suggest that you press down the middle of the belt with your fingers, and the lower deflection is 11-13mm, which is normal. The fan blades cannot be installed backwards to ensure that the fan guard is complete and effective.
