The driver of the electric forklift shall pay attention to observe whether the battery is short of water, replenish distilled water in time, and avoid using drinking water normally, otherwise the battery will be damaged. If a electric forklift is not used for a long time, the battery should be fully charged and stored, and recharged every 1-2 months. If the forklift is to be operated continuously for multiple shifts, it is necessary to prepare a standby battery to prevent the battery from running fast, causing loss to the battery and shortening the battery life. In order to avoid affecting the charging of the charger and damaging the chopper due to over voltage generated by the charger, the electric forklift manufacturer reminds that the charging circuit must be completely separated from the chopper when charging the battery.

When storing the electric forklift battery, it shall not be placed horizontally. Because the battery contains 22% - 28% dilute sulfuric acid, the positive discharge battery can ensure that the electrolyte covers the electrode plate and leaves a certain space. If it is laid horizontally, part of the electrode plate will be exposed and the electrode plate will be damaged. Moreover, the horizontal discharge battery is likely to cause the electrolyte to flow out from the exhaust port of the battery. In addition, when the battery is short of power, it must be charged in time, but do not charge too frequently or for too long. It is better to charge regularly. The electric forklift manufacturer recommends charging once a day or twice a day.
